Survivors.org Statement Regarding Epstein Files

We at Survivors.org are sad, and we are angry. The most recent release of the, “Epstein files,” in addition to all previous released information, is horrific. No words can suffice for how we feel as individuals or as an organization, but we can confidently say we believe all survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and we believe the survivors of any of his associates. There is no political party, amount of wealth, or status that can negate this systematic violence. Power should never be a shield to the consequences of committing such horrific crimes.

We are especially angry about the release of non consensual images of minors in these files. These children are victims and the sharing and viewing of these images is the constant, sustained abuse of our most vulnerable. This must stop and the perpetrators of this abuse must be exposed and prosecuted.

We are a staff of survivors and we will continue to work alongside survivors and provide support through our support groups, BIPOC healing circles, and art workshops.

We also acknowledge that the struggle of one survivor is the struggle of us all. The survivors in the Epstein files, survivors in ICE custody, and survivors facing violence all over the world deserve care.

Please check out our shared resources. Our greatest asset is our community rooted in survivor voices. We will continue to stand up for survivors, and demand survivor-centered justice.

In solidarity and with anger,
Survivors.org
