Survivor Support Summit

October 16th at 9 AM PST | 11 AM CST | 12 AM EST

Survivors and their needs should be put at the forefront and centered, which is why this year, we’re taking a different approach and making survivor support the core focus of our annual Red Zone Summit.

Join us on October 16th at 9 AM PST | 11 AM CST| 12 PM EST for a three hour-long free, virtual support space for survivors amid the Red Zone.

Frequently Asked Questions

The summit is open to any and all survivors over the age of 18 or currently in college. We recognize that all survivors are affected by campus sexual violence, especially at this moment in time. We also know that survivors from all walks of life have shared experiences, even if they aren’t identical.

Survivors.org will never record a support session. However, we will be recording the Q & A portion, which we will make clear during the session. We will also send the Art Workshop slides, and any other materials we end up providing, to everyone who registered.

When you register, there will be a Q & A form sent in the confirmation email from Zoom. Survivors can also ask questions during the summit.

Our philosophy for our support spaces is for people to take what they need and leave the rest, meaning that we encourage you to only engage in the parts of the summit that serve you, or that you are able to work into your schedule. Please come and go as you need and we will do our best to monitor the waiting room to admit you swiftly.

From 2023-2025, Survivors.org hosted the Shatter The Red Zone Summit, a live webinar in the fall during which four panels were held, covering topics such as consent, bystander intervention, supporting survivors, rape culture, institutional accountability, Title IX, and more, with the goal of providing college students with knowledge they need, but often don’t receive, in college during the Red Zone.

Survivors.org is experiencing a major budget crisis, as are a devastatingly large chunk of organizations like us. While we are still here, we are operating on a limited capacity, and an even more limited budget!

Our expert panelists deserve to be compensated for their valuable time, and marketing can be costly and time-consuming, which made it impossible to host the summit as usual this year.

We ultimately believe that, now more than ever, we as survivors truly are surviving, and we need each other to make it through. Survivor needs, voices, and spaces should be centered.

Help from our donors makes our support spaces possible.

We ask any of our supporters who have the ability to donate to help us cover the costs so that survivors can attend this group.
